The Farm West Front is situated in the Karoo, near the town Britstown in South Africa. The area has an annual rainfall  of 250mm (10 inches). Climatic conditions permitting, animals are reared on natural grazing as this is ideal for correct frame development, hardiness and adaptability. This is one of the reasons why the West Front Stud has a reputation for consistent quality, dependable performance, adaptability and good genetics.
